Pak Oman Microfinance Bank (POMFB)

Inaugurated on May 21, 2006, the Pak-Oman Microfinance Bank (POMFB) in Pakistan has been jointly sponsored by the Sultanate of Oman and the Pak-Oman Investment Company. The national-level microfinance bank has a paid-up capital of PKR 500 million and offers a range of microcredit and micro-savings products and services, and aspires to become an engine of job creation to the under-privileged segments of our society.
